Templates & Services

Hi,

1) Templates
If I select a template in the object browser and select "Data collection" and then try to add a new item I get an error message saying "Error retrieving supported parameters: Incompatible operation" when I push the Select button in the "Data Collection Item"-dialogue box. Is this intentional? As far as I can tell the only way I can add new data items to a template is by first adding them to one of the nodes using this template and then use the "Move to template..." option. Is this correct?

Also, is there any support for importing pre-made template sets or anything similar?

2) Services
I cant fully figure out how services work. I added a HTTP service type check to a server Im testing, set a request and an expected response as described by Alex Kirhenshtein in http://www.netxms.org/archive/netxms-users/0020.html. However when I select the node and choose Poll->Status the following shows in the poll window:

   Starting status poll on network service HTTP server
      Current status is Unknown
      Polling service from node somenode.directconnect.no [82.148.160.xxx]
      Unable to check service status due to agent or communication error
   Finished status poll on network service HTTP server

Agent configuration is as follows:

MasterServers = 82.148.160.xxx
LogFile = /var/log/nxagentd.log
RequireAuthentication = yes
RequireEncryption = yes
SharedSecret = somesecret
FileStore = /var/nxagentd
SubAgent = /opt/lib/libnsm_linux.so

Any suggestions on what I should check?
