Generally speaking, it's not safe to use CVS version in production
environment. CVS snapshots available at web site builds every night, and
sometimes it can work normally, and sometimes it's totally screwed up.
Biggest problem is database schema - it may change between snapshots,
and most likely you will have problems with database upgrades. On my
development system, I usually re-create database at least once a week.
CVS version is good to take a look on new features, etc., but not to
have it as a production system.
About lots-of-interface bug - is it possible for you to provide us with
some debugging information? I don't have access to big Cisco routers,
but I setup Linux box with 3000 interfaces, and all polls was passed
successfully (polls went slow, but it's a different problem). So I'm a
bit stuck with this problem.
Best regards,
Victor
