Now the answers:

1. Possible problem is in agent configuration - if you wish to edit
agent's configuration from console, you should add address of your
management server to MasterServers parameter, like

MasterServers = 10.0.0.1

This is also true for agent located on the management server. Actually,
for local agent it's better to add both loopback and ethernet interface
addresses, like

MasterServers = 10.0.0.1, 127.0.0.1

2. I have tested Oracle script only on Oracle 9i, running on Windows,
and it run without problems. I will update this script in next release.
Thank you for reporting this problem.

3. nxcon crash - I have never seen such problem. Can you please send
detailed information about your workstation?

Just installed netxms for the first time.

My environment:
Server: Gentoo Linux
Client pc: windows 2000
DB: Oracle 8

Only one agent currently installed - at the server box.

First of all, thanks to developers, great job guys !
I was pretty amazed about oracle support, and it really works :)

Now questions ;)

When I exit from nxcon, it always "generates an error, and will be
closed by windows". Not critical, but annoying stuff. Any clues on how
to eliminate it ? More serious problem I've faced with is "Error getting
agent's configuration file: Communication failure" during "Edit agent's
configuration". Am I doing something wrong ?

By the way... Maybe it's more for developers list, but as soon as I am
here :) About db initialisation scripts - have you tested one for Oracle
? At least there is a small problem,which is not very complicated, with
inserting data. There is an empty values, and oracle (at least my Oracle
8), complains about it. To insert those rows into db, I was forced to
change '' by ' ' which. If you need any more comments, or modifyed
script, just ask.
