Victor,
Do you mean I can get the WINE binaries from
(netxms-0.2.9-win32-binary.tar.gz), or the nxcon.exe file that works
under WINE from said package. I would still consider myself a linux
newbie, and I am guessing that I can run WINE and then launch the
nxcon.exe file that can be retrieved from the binary package. Would
that be a good assumption?

Thanks,
Sam

Hello!

Unfortunatelly, nxcon currently exists only for Windows, because it's
written in MFC (I have written console only under Windows because I
don't have required knowledge in X or Windows/X cross-platform
programming). However, it can be run on Linux under WINE (we have tested
latest nxcon.exe with latest WINE version, and it works just fine). For
running console under WINE, you can get binaries from windows binary
package (i.e. netxms-0.2.9-win32-binary.tar.gz).

Best regards,
Victor
