Victor,

Thanks for the info. That makes sense. I was trying to give someone a
"sandbox" so they could play (I mean learn) the tool without affecting
devices already on the tree. That doesn't seem possible. But I did
give him a different container and he linked to the servers. I don't
think it will cause any problems.

Hello!

There are only one object tree, so there are can be only one root
network object. What is the reason to giving each user an empty tree?
You can make a limited simulation of entire object tree by creating
container object for each user and giving user rights only to this
container object. If user will not have rights to root object, first
container object it has rights to will became root object in user's
object browser.
