Hello, recently I have installed NetXMS to help manage a large network.  I am trying to call a trigger when a specific threshold is reached on a port.  For example, if I had a 10 Gbps port and 90% of the 10 Gbps was been utilised then I would like it to push an event to the event log.  I would like an event to be pushed to the event log so I can trigger an alarm so I can get a notification/email.

However, I am struggling to set the threshold as I cannot see the option when I click on the DCI Object.  I have got a DCI object two that display the current up and down throughput of the port, which can be read from and shows a graph when I view it in the node's performance tab.

Thank you for the help.

Hi,

you should go to data collection configuration on the node, then edit DCI object - then you will see "Thresholds" page. You can also post some screenshots.

Best regards,
Victor
