NetXMS Support Forum

I'm managing application servers with a bunch of Java based web applications running on each of them. I'm new to NetXMS and so far a bit overwhelmed by all the possibilities... What would be the best way to monitor that my web apps are alive? I have experimented with DCIs (mainly ServiceCheck.HTTP) and network services created under server nodes but I'm yet to find a good way to create a handy dashboard based on the collected information. I can for example add a Status Indicator widget to show the status of a network service but what would be the easiest way to display a similar indicator for DCIs?
