I have various Cisco Switches 2960 configured to send SNMP traps with link up and down. This is working perfectly with the out of the box SNMP OID traps, however when I get the event alert, I don't get the interface name or description. How can I get the alert to send me the real interface? Also how can I specify to just send me an alert for a specific interface?
