Readout of updates

It would be great if the agent (for windows) had the option to read out the available updates for windows, do you think it would be possible to implement this function or is it a bad idea?

You mean to notify when new updates are available for Windows but not installed yet? Why not to use WSUS for it - as far as I know it's free.

That's what I mean.

We are going to use WSUS soon, but at some of our customers which we are going to be monitoring there isn't any wsus server running nor do they want it.

So that's basically the reason, but it's not something I need desperatly, just something that would be usefull that's all :)
