Title: Receiving email in netxms
Post by: xenth on May 09, 2008, 09:37:57 AM
There are a lot of devices that do not support SNMP, however a lot of them
are capable of sending an email.

It would be great if netxms would be capable to receive these emails, so that I can
run a policy on the subject line.

Just a thought :)

I agree, it can be useful feature.

For now, it potentially could be done on UNIX with combination of procmail and nxevent (or nxpush). Maybe it is also possible to run procmail on Windows under cygwin.

Best regards,
Victor

I would really appreciate it if you could implement such a feature eventually, that would really make NetXMS so much better :)
