can you add DCI values over SSH without the need of the netxms agent?

You need at least one agent with SSH subagent loaded. It could be agent on NetXMS server itself.

I hate to revive an old post, but I was searching for some better information on this myself.   I noticed that the admin guide screenshots don't even match what's in NetXMS (at least, in 2025 for version 5.2.x) ... so, this is making is pretty difficult haha :-).

Yes, it takes some effort to renew them and there's always no time for that. Which images are most problematic, you can just post image URLs from web version of docs or name of chapter.
