Hi Victor,

CentOS v6.4 x86
postgresql v9.x
NetXMS v1.2.12
win 7 sp1 ent x64 for console
since i have replaced netxms with latest version i get "get dci" errors after period of time. closing the console and opening again solves the problem.
at the beginning i thought that there was a "timeout" or "idle" value but i have another 2 different netxms servers on 2 different networks running on win2k8r2 and win7pro as servers which do not have this problem. along with the problem i am facing for the past 10 releases or so, a problem that causing my server to duplicate nodes i am beginning to think that either i have a problem with my own linux server or there is a general linux problem.
i can not point what is the problem but i can say that i always install netxms from scratch and i did not see problem with the DB.using nxdbmgr always indicates that the DB is ok.

what can i do ?
Best Regards,
Lindeamon

Hi!

Recently I've found a bug that prevents console from sending keep-alive messages to the server, and so server can forcibly disconect session after 15 minutes. Looks like it could be ypur problem as well. It is fixed in upcoming 1.2.13 release.

Best regards,
Victor

As workaround - I open log window. Its renews wery often so does same as keep-alive service.

thank you edward.borst.
Victor - is it possible to have a difference, code wise, between linux and windows ? maybe a dumb question, but i am trying to figure out whether my problem is related only to linux based netxms server.

I have the same problem on Windows, NetXMS server running on Windows 8.1. I get the "write socket error" when using Managment Console and/or WebUI locally on the server and when using Management Console or WebUI from another machine.
But, it comes and goes, not sure what triggers it.
(Maybe idle time as mentioned).

Cheers
