Title: 'node down' alarm could appears after 3 or 5 bad status ?
Post by: bertrand on August 29, 2013, 07:06:42 PM
Hi,

a node is polling every 60s and status is Ok most of times.
sometimes a poll is bad and netxms shows an alarm "Node down". Next poll, the status is ok so i got 'node up'.

I'd like to configure the node so the 'node down' alarm appears after 3 or 5 bad status.
I've search with thresold settings but don't know  to do  it.

Can anyone help ?
netxms version is 1.2.7

Thanks,
Bertrand.

Hi!

You can set "required poll count" for node interface(s) to desired number of polls. NetXMS will consider interface down only after given number of unsuccessful polls, and so entire node will be considered down only then.

Best regards,
Victor
