hi,

when ever an alarm is displayed in the alarm browser there is a corresponding balloon tip popping up but it stays there for along time after the alarm was terminated both manually and automatically.
is there a need to shorten the time of the balloon tip ?

Hi!

It looks like it is system-wide parameter in Windows. At least Eclipse does not provide any API for controlling balloon timeout.
