Title: Cisco 2960X Monitoring
Post by: Nelsonc0 on February 07, 2020, 11:00:30 PM
Hello, I am new to NetXMS. Testing it out as my companies network monitoring tool. We are a Cisco shop, with mostly 2960X switches, some 4400 routers, and 5508 ASA's. I got the NetXMS installed, and added a test WS-C2960XR-48FPS-I. Upon adding the node initially all that worked was the icmp. I found another post that described changing the custom settings to manually pick the Catalyst-generic driver. Once I done that I started receiving some better information. I still don't think it is working correctly though. If I right click the node and go to VLAN, or Mac database I see information I would expect, but I do not see anything in the object details/ports   , /interfaces , /performance etc. All of the tabs except Overview are empty. Any ideas? I apologize if I am missing something simple, I have been browsing the forums all day trying to answer my quesitons.

Have you configured switch snmp, does netxms discover node as snmp compatible?
