Is Jira Integration Two way? - Helpdesk Ticket Creation

Here asking what is probably an obvious answer.

We have Jira (server) setup working great with NetXMS, we have tickets getting created automatically with node down alarms etc.

We do however face a problem with alarms being created and making a helpdesk ticket, but when a node is back online it can not close the alarm on NetXMS due to it having a helpdesk ticket on it.

Just wanted to know if there is something I have missed or should check so that Jira closes tickets when a node is up?

Note that the workflow is set up on Jira's end. When i close a ticket or mark it resolved. NetXMS does change the alarm to acknowledged and resolved etc so that side works.

This is how the integration was designed - currently it's not possible to close alarm while helpdesk ticket is open.
