I'm using netxms management console 1.2.3 with server 1.2.3.1
after sniffing with wireshark I found out that SNMP polling is still happening even though it's disabled on a node.
in fact, on the printer I am monitoring netxms is causing snmp traffic and traffic on port 9100 and that happens with all polling disabled!
the status does not update anymore on the console but the server keeps bugging the device.
is this a known issue that I can fix by upgrading/patching?

				Hi!
How often do you see SNMP packets destined to devices with SNMP turned off? Can you show a screenshot of node properties and screenshot of SNMP request (or list SNMP OIDs requested by server)?
Best regards,
Victor

oh, I think I discovered what was happening.
I disabled active discovery yesterday but only after I rebooted the server today, this traffic stopped.
so indeed it seems the settings do work on the node and I was just fooled with running active discovery.
