Hi there,

Sorry for the question that seems to be silly .. but I have to ask for help.

I'm monitoring through SNMP some remote Firewalls.
Those firewalls are connected to here using a VPN Link, So using SNMP with the LAN IP address is a good solution to monitor it.

Now, I want to monitor the internet Link.
Each firewall has several internet links on different interfaces.
I want to pool the public IP to know if that particular link is down or up ..
In NetXMS I cannot create another "Node" because it says that that IP already exists.
So I'm not really sure how to pool from here, the public IP using ICMP maybe to know if the link is down or up, because the interface will be always Up .. I cannot monitor based on the port State.

I need to use NetXms or another node to pool the public IP. If the Ping doesn't respond let's say for 3 unsuccessful attempts, I want to trigger an "node Down" alert.

Thanks in advance.
