I would like to know if it is possible to monitor the leased line/wan connection and show TX/RX on the map.

Of course, this is one of the most basic functions NetXMS provides.

You of course need to be able to read this over SNMP from a network device terminating that connection.

Router will expose the data over SNMP.
SNMP needs to be configured on the router.

NetXMS will then poll the data from the router using SNMP.
