Title: How to Monitor Parameters of SNMP-enabled UPS's
Post by: t-jay_007 on March 19, 2015, 09:50:51 AM
Dear all,

I am working on a project to monitor the parameters (voltage, frequency, load, battery etc) of a number of UPS's. I plan to install SNMP card on the UPS's and hence use an NMS to monitor the parameters using the respective OID's. Please I want know if NetXMS is able to do this. If yes, kindly help with the steps/process as I am a newbie to NMS generally.

Thank you for your time.

Regards,
Waheed.

Hope you will find all answers there. Ask if something will be unclear.

Hi Tatjana and All,

I found the video very useful and helpful. I have been able to monitor a couple of devices. However, I want to create a notification system that would alert users via email and sms when some certain thresholds, conditions or predetermined value are exceeded.

Kindly help.
Thank you all.
