NetXMS not generating email alerts

Hey All,

Having a little bit of an issue getting NetXMS to generate email alerts. I configured the SMTP config in NetXMS of my internal SMTP relay server (using the IP) and restarted the netxms service to apply the new config. I have also created an action to send email and added it to the SYS_NODE_DOWN event processing policy. I then proceeded to take a test machine offline to test the process and NetXMS detected the node as down but did not generate the email alert. I looked at the SMTP relay server and did not see any attempts from the NetXMS server of trying to connect. Thoughts?
