Hello, I am very new to NETXMS. Currently at work I have the job of moving it from an old server to a new server. From my research it looks like I just need to install NETXMS on the new server then adjust the .conf and move the database over. My questions are.
1. Is that correct
2. Will that move all the scripts and nodes?
3. Where is the database? I looked at the .conf file and it only shows the name. I searched the name on the whole computer and didn't find anything. There is no path defined.

Please help!

Hi,

if database is external to the server, then yes, the only thing you need is to point new server to existing database. If database is on the same machine, and you plan to use new database, then database migration will help. Search the forum for "nxdbmgr migrate" - you should get few topics regarding database migration.

Best regards,
