Hello,
I just start learning NetXMS to monitor network servers and appliances, in my test environment, i have two machines :

• AD2008 : Windows Server 2008, hosting NetXMS core server and the Web UI
• AD2012 : Windows Server 2012 acting as another server to make tests

The weird thing is i find the first machine, AD2008 twice in the management console, and i don't know what i've missed exactly. Any idea???

Did you change the IP address of AD2008 by any chance?

That might be because im still testing, but in normal situation does it accept creating several objects with same name?

Yes, several objects can have the same name (name is more like description really).

IP address of 2 objects can NOT be the same however.
