Hi,
We keep seeing systems reporting "SNMP agent is not responding", even though SNMP polling is working fine.
It appears this happens when a Windows Server, that act as its own proxy for SNMP connectivity, reboots.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I am having a similar issue. Anyone else?

				Hi,
it's hard to tell anything without more detailed diagnostic. Packet capture of SNMP packets to problematic node may help.
Best regards,
Victor

				Hi Victor,
In my case the nodes are the proxy nodes for a site and the SNMP traffic to them is tunneled through their own agent.
When this happens though, the server will happily collect SNMP data from the node without any problems. It just doesn't cancel/remove the SNMP unreachable alert.
This looks like it's related to https://track.radensolutions.com/issue/NX-1228?
Cheers

So you are getting "SNMP unreachable" events when proxy agent restarts, but no "SNMP OK" after proxy connection is restored, right?

				Yes, that's correct.
