Title: Total noob trying to get debian wheezy working
Post by: c0mputerking on April 04, 2014, 09:30:26 PM
Hello all i have a fresh install of Debian Wheezy and have tried to install the packages on the website but have run into some issues with deps
so far i have installed all the debian packages on the website version 2.1.13 of course and now i get an error about not being able to start because of missing config file i have tried several times to install

Debian Linux (x86)   netxms-base_1.2.13_i386.deb
Debian Linux (x86)   netxms-agent_1.2.13_i386.deb
Debian Linux (x86)   netxms-server-mysql_1.2.13_i386.deb  this one complained so i installed Debian Linux (x86)   netxms-server_1.2.13_i386.deb and tried again

Now i always get this error

Could not process "/etc/netxmsd.conf"!

Anyways i have on HUGE question is there any instructions on how to install this using the repository ??  apt-get install netxms-server netxms-web for example

the config file is not included in the package. read the manual and learn to install a database and create the config file.
