Title: Ubuntu (21.10) impish deb package
Post by: Ganku on December 06, 2021, 03:45:29 AM
Hi guys, sorry if this was answered already, I was not able to find it in the search.

I am unable to find any release packages for Ubuntu 21.10 (Impish Indri),

I added the repo via the netxms-release package, and when updating my packages it returns the following;
Ign:5 http://packages.netxms.org/ubuntu impish InRelease
Err:6 http://packages.netxms.org/ubuntu impish Release
  404  Not Found [IP: 5.9.112.213 80]
Reading package lists... Done
E: The repository 'http://packages.netxms.org/ubuntu impish Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

Did I mess something up, or is there no release packages?

I did look into the URL, http://packages.netxms.org/ubuntu, and I don't see any for Impish Indri, just Bionic, Focal and Xenial.

They are currently not packaged. I'll add them to CI build.

So it's not that easy after all. Ubuntu changed compression inside deb files to zst, which is not (yet?) supported by Debian tools (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=892664). As a result I can't publish using existing tools (we run Debian for that). I will take another look at the problem later.

DEBs temporary available here: https://netxms.org/tmp/impish/
