Hi,

I am a new user to NetXMS and installed NetXMS.

NetXMS Console shows Unable to connect: Communication failure

Following Versions of NetXMS are installed
netxms-1.2.0
netxms-console-1.2.0
nxagent-1.2.0
Oracle DB 11g express edition

I have also checked database for any errors. See below

C:\NetXMS\bin>nxdbmgr check
NetXMS Database Manager Version 1.2.0

Checking database (excluding collected data):
* Checking zone objects...                                            [PASSED]
* Checking node objects...                                            [PASSED]
* Checking interface objects...                                       [PASSED]
* Checking network service objects...                                 [PASSED]
* Checking cluster objects...                                         [PASSED]

* Checking object properties...                                       [PASSED]
* Checking event processing policy...                                 [PASSED]
Database doesn't contain any errors
Database check completed

When go to services and I see that NetXMS Agent shows "Started" and NetXMS Core does not show any status. When I attempted to start NetXMS Core I am getting "Could not start the NetXMS service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start."

Also, please let me know whether NetXMS gives production support or not? And whether NetXMS can be run on web based browser or not?

Please guide and reply at the earliest.

Regards,
Sanjay

Hi!

Check what dependencies you have in NetXMS Core service. Looks like one of this services cannot start. Try to start each dependency service manually and see what happens.

You can have web frontend for NetXMS. It is installed as separate package. For Windows it is https://www.netxms.org/download/webui/netxms-webui-1.2.0.exe (32 bit) or https://www.netxms.org/download/webui/netxms-webui-1.2.0-x64.exe (64 bit).

Best regards,
Victor
