General Support / Windows EventLog Check
August 26, 2011, 12:46:51 PM
Hi,

I use a multi-language with Windwos server.
"Call to EvtFormatMessage failed: The resource loader failed to find MUI file."

I put Japanese MUI, but want to output a message in English because I am garbled.
How can you pick up a message in English if you set it?

I want to pick up a built-in syslog server  in event, but cannot pick it up even if I set "syslog parser".
------------------------
<parser>
      <rules>
         <rule>match>(*)</match><event params="1">100024</event></rule>
      </rules>
</parser>
------------------------

If there are samples, please show it.

Best regards,

hi!

Nxagentd.log was confirmed.
The following messages appeared. The log file doesn't rotate.
The target log file is frequently written.

nxagentd.log

[11-Mar-2011 13:45:05] LogParser: file size differs for stat(8 ) and fstat(/var/log/test.log), assume file rename
[11-Mar-2011 13:45:05] LogParser: file "/var/log/test.log" (pattern "/var/log/test.log") successfully opened

hi!

Please look at the time stamp and the detection time of the syslog. Do not you detect it since the second times though it is correct movement that detects by the first time?

Best regards.

March 03, 2011, 07:50:04 AM
Hi,

As for logwatch, it is a question.

The message generated in the past is detected two or more times.
Isn't there method of not detecting the message in the past detected once?

Hi Victor,

It re-tested. They are Cluster and Container. a result -- having been the same .
Cliuster did not have a reaction by "check agent" by Cluster for about 5 minutes.

Container did not have a reaction by "check agent" by NODE for about 10 minutes.

Cluster
nxadm -c "sh p"
PT  TIME                   STATE
S   07/Jan/2011 12:10:02   wait

S   07/Jan/2011 12:04:45   poll: CLUSTER [89] - check agent
S   07/Jan/2011 12:10:17   wait
------- cut -------
R   07/Jan/2011 12:05:32   poll: SERVER NODE [50]
------- cut -------

Container
nxadm -c "sh p"
PT  TIME                   STATE
------- cut -------
S   07/Jan/2011 12:36:57   wait
S   07/Jan/2011 12:28:15   poll: SERVER NODE [50] - check agent
------- cut -------
R   07/Jan/2011 12:28:17   poll: SERVER NODE [50]
------- cut -------

I am using the DCI transformation scripts.
However, it doesn't use it in the object node.

General Support / node down status
January 04, 2011, 07:35:29 AM
Dear all,

Agent Status & status returns a normal value "0" though has passed since the server was downed ten minutes from five minutes.

Why is not abnormality detected?

Which configuration does only have to be changed though it wants to be going to detect abnormality of the server in about one minute?

The down of "NIC" detection is also slow. It takes 15 minutes from about five minutes.
Isn't there improvement method?
