Still no luck.
From the post in the link it supposed to be 9600.

also tried without colon, then i get

Trying to communicate with a powerware 5125 ups.
I followed an old thread fond here https://www.netxms.org/forum/configuration/ups-configuration/
(wich seems to be for a windows configuration)

in my  nxagentd.conf i put this
SubAgent = /usr/local/lib/libnsm_ups.so


# UPS subagent configuration section
*UPS
Device = 0:ttyUSB5:,9600,8,N,1:BCMXCP

From the logfile i recive this:

Also i have no other communication on usb5

and my agent version is 1.2.9

I've just upgraded to v1.2 in Linux environment and one of my favourite features seems to be gone.
In Object Details for a node I can right click to show history as graph (in tab Last values). But in previous versions there was also the option "show history"
as a value. Is this gone in v1.2 or just paled somewhere else?

I had a powerloss on my netXMS server and now I get the following message when I start it:
"SQL query failed (Query = "INSERT INTO idata_117 (item_id,idata_timestamp,idata_value) VALUES (162,1332911181,'4')"): Incorrect key file for table './netxms/idata_117.MYI'; try to repair it"

Not sure what to make of this, the server starts and seems to be working, but it would be nice to get it fixed just for the sake.

Had only a admin account so far, created a new user and loged in.
When i click object browser it came up empty, can't see my network...
any ideas?

The problem was I had the security enabled. Tried to disable it and now it works.
Haven't figured out yet why it won't work on the ubuntu machines, the config is all the same.

I have some agents installed on different systems. The ones with ubuntu 10.04 32bit i have som trouble access the agent.
The agent is up running (as far as I know), when I try poll configuration I get no info from node.
I have the agent on ubuntu10.04 64bit and some debian with no problem.
Any hint on what to look for?
The nxagentd.conf is the same on all nodes and the rest of agent configuration is default

Also "edit agents configuration" gives me communication error....

I've tried both to install frob deb packages and install --with-agent, same result...
