Hi, expert,

    I'm a newcomer to netxms, I found the netxms is great , so wish to useit.
    when I install the netxms server, , i could not connect to oracle?
    here are the what I enter :
    oracle oracle.ddr
    oracle connect string : moni
    db login : moni (oracle username)
    db : password of  moni
    I can connect to moni by sqlplus, but the netxmd server can not connect to moni

    the moni in tnsnames.ora is :
MONI1 =
  (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
      (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 172.16.27.123)(PORT = 1521))
    )
    (CONNECT_DATA =
      (SERVICE_NAME = moni.com)
    )
  )


    why this happened?
   another question , must I install netxms agent on every node I wish monitor?
