Where does the nodes discovered in network discovery end up?

if i try to manually add a node which the discovery should have found, i get an error because it already exist, but i cant find it anywhere in the entire network constellation - so obviously it finds something, but what happens to it then?

i have special situation..

i have syslog arriving from alot of subnets, but from a certain subnet they never show up in the syslog monitor window...

everything else does / even from unknown sources!

when i do a tcpdump on port 514, i can see that the messages arrives, but i cant seem to figure out why they dont get processed

any clues_

Is there a way to move several nodes to another zone, or is it just - one by one?

Hey all

i need some tips on handling syslog messages originating from behind a nat router.

the source and host in the messages takes the routers info, but the messages contains <time><device><log event>

how can i handle these messages, so they will end up on the correct devices (i have an agent running snmp off the devices)?

i cant seem to figure out how to use the parser for this...

any one have a refference to an startup guide?
im working on linux but fairly new to it, im having trouble with the netxmsd.conf
