Good-day Folks,
Hope all who are reading this are doing well. So, trying to test NetXMS in an air-gapped environment. Last night, I followed the installation guide to install NetXMS Server v5.0.8 unto a Windows Server 2016 system, running Microsoft SQL 2019. In summary, the Core and Reporting services are not starting. I looked briefly at the logs contained within the applications logs folder, and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. In all fairness, I was rushing out of the office so will look deeper today.
I'm using Windows Authentication on the MSSQL server, and I configured the DB Login username to "*" and password blank, as per the install directions. I then configured the Logon account of the services to use the service account I created in Active Directory.
I'm gonna dig deeper into the Windows Event logs to see if I see anything that stands out, but in case anyone has run into this problem before and could shed a light, I'd appreciate it very much.
