Hi,

I installed netxms agent on Win Server 2008 R2 (netxms version - 1.2.14) and this message is appearing in event viewer occasionally:
Communication session broken: A request to send or receive data was disallowed because the socket had already been shut down in that direction with a previous shutdown call

Here is server log (you can also see processing of this event from event log - I setup event log monitoring), it looks like it happen after poll status:

If it is not important I can ignore it but is there any option how to filter this event - send all warnings / event except this one ?

Hi,
I want to create some heartbeat event (just to be sure if everything is running) which send email to me every 3 hours.

I cretaed DC which check CPU temperature on dell server every 10800 seconds and created threshold for temp > 0 then setup policy to send email with current temperature but I have two problems :
- I don't know which event setup  into: "when condition becomes false again" as this probably never happen
- This setup is OK only for first time I think because second time the event is already there so it is not generated again

Is there some way how to be able send email with current temperature every 3 hours ?

I want to monitor one of my https site and I decided for WMI but if I want to check application status I need to call WMI method GetStatus as in included screenshots. Is it possible to call it via standard WMI.Query() ? Now I am using external paramater which call my vbs script it is working fine but if it can be done via WMI.Query it will be better :-)

Hi,

I think it can be helpful to have possibility to create top trend graphs. Example: I am collecting inbound, outbound traffic on 48 ports, but I want to see let's say just 10 ports with highest traffic as these are important if problems appear. It's same for CPU utilization, packet error rate .... something like in included screen shot.

First of all thank you VERY MUCH for this great SW !!! Now my problem ... I added several switches into NETXMS setup counters everything is fine but now I want to organize my services into some hierarchy before I start adding servers. I want put all switches into container LAN but as you can see from screenshot I can't do this could you please explain me what I am doing wrong ? Thank you very much and please keep this nice SW live ....

I have problem to create Event from syslog event. I am receiving syslog messages (image1)
My syslog parser:
<rules>
   <rule>
     <severity>8</severity>
     <match>(.*)</match>
     <event params="1">100000</event>
   </rule>
 </rules>

My Event (image2)
But nothing happen when syslog message arrives :-( event viewer (image3). NETXMS is running as service on Windows 7 computer.

Hi,

I am testing netxms product but need help based on this doc. https://www.netxms.org/documentation/ping_subagent.shtml I added followed lines into agent cfg file:

*PING
Target = 137.133.31.15:NO_GW

when I use nxget 127.0.0.1 Icmp.AvgPingTime(NO_GW) I get some output, but I want to know:

- how often is ping performed
- how can I see all ping times
- can I change how often is host pinged out ?
