I am trying to install NetXMS in a Windows XP SP3 virtual machine with a SQL Server 2008 R2 express backend. At first, I had some issues getting the DB end of things configured, but after poking around the forums I was able to get the DB initialized. However, I am now running into an issues with the Core service not starting. Initially I followed this post: https://www.netxms.org/forum/installation/netxms-core-service-on-windows-won39t-start/ and upgraded the DB from version 104 to 105. Next, I went into the service manager and attempted to manually start the core service, but every time I do three events popup in the event log, EventID: 8, 7009, and 7000. Event ID 8 says that the service was unable to establish a connection to the database, but when I run "nxdbmgr.exe check" everything passes.
