what does "restart" column in the server configuration means ?

hi,

i have installed the 2.1-m1 and it didn't solve a problem i had so i went and installed the 2.0.7.
after installing, the service wouldn't start because of DB upgrade issue.
when i ran nxdbmgr.exe upgrade, it told me that i have a newer version of DB and there was nothing i could do.
since i wanted to install everything from scratch, i have deleted everything.

for future cases like this, what should i have done ?

no, no agents and no snmp. do i need to have at least on to be able to create the network ? i thought the network is created when the 1st node is discovered.
see the attached file with the debug output.

i have narrowed it down to one server node but i have 2 networks although i keep deleting the newest network found.
any idea ?

1. there are no agents installed on the machines
2. no. i have esx, windows 2012 r2, linux. no older windows operating systems.
3. 255.255.255.0
4. how do i do that ? can you write the steps ?

yes it is.
i have upgraded to v2.0.4, deleted the nodes and let it rediscover them.
nothing changed.
i want to mention that i have configured the "active discovery" to discover the network along with a static route on my computer.

Hi,
for some reason the server is rediscovering itself and creates a 2nd node and respective network object as you can see in the attached image.
i have tried deleting the 2nd node {not the original} and it keeps discovering itself.

what can be done ?

nodes are created and they are located under the "business Services" object.

hi,

using v2.0.3.
i have added a new network to the active search and the server finds all the nodes in the network but it does no create the network object and place the nodes under it.
the feature "delete empty subnets" in not enabled.

what is the problem ?

is it possible to enable detailed tooltip to event monitor ans syslog monitor and every monitor that does not have it ?
there are events that i do not convert to alarms and i still want to be able to view full details
