Hello,
SNMP monitoring is enabled in Cisco Switch C3750. And Data collection objects are collected correctly (sysName, sysUpTime,..) but interface list is not.
And everytime i try full poll configuration, i get Unable to get interface list from node.
Besides, information in Object Details is missing, like System Description
I don't know what i can make to make it happen correctly espesially that i searched in the forum and didn't find any clue.

Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Hello Sir,
I believe that setting community string to default "public" resolved my issue in my MSL. But i wonder what was the problem with it..?

Besides, i get a different trap which is like the picture joint to this.
About your first question, no, it doesn't see the MSL as SNMP node.

General Support / Monitor an HP Tape Library/SNMP
August 16, 2016, 03:30:03 PM
Hello,
My NetXMS server (2.0.5) is running on WIndows Server 2008 and i want to monitor an HP MSL 4048 Tapelibrary with SNMP.
I created the appropriate node with deactivating agent polling, configured the MSL with the appropriate SNMP community which is configured in the MSL Management Network.
But, every minute, i get : SNMP_AUTH_FAILURE.
I would be so grateful if anyone can share a tip that helps resolving this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I just want to tell you that I have found a temporary workaround by activating ping.nsm agent in that remote server (suposed to tell if there's internet connectivity or not for that location) and created a DCI icmp.ping(www.google.com) and configured thresholds to tell if it is ok or not.

Just another question, how can i set alarms to auto-resolve?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
How can i monitor internet availability in my remote locations please?

I am trying to provide a mean to check Internet availability for my remote users. So I created a node with IP address of my ISP gateway. But, the state does not change, even if the ping is OK.

All i want to do, is to say if the remote locations of my company have internet connections or not.

Thanks in advance.

thank you so much for your help. I'll search deeper to find out what's not going alright with these OIDs.

Hello, and thanks for your answer.

I took your answer as if the OID that i were looking for was wrong. I searched in Cisco Websites and took another OID, which is :     1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.1.1.5.3     agentFreeMemory. But in the console, it gives me the same error. I don't know what i have to do with it now.
Joint, the error alarm from the Console.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I am trying to monitor a CISCO 3725 Layer 3 switch with NetXMS through SNMP. I configured the switch with the appropriate community string and the detection in NetXMS console was successful. But, when i try to configure a Data Collection Item, it says that it is not supported.
Joint, is the configuration of the DCI.
What should i do to make it work please?
Thanks in advance.
