Feature Requests / Re: 3com switchs

Hi Victor,

thank you for your time and explanation.
what about nodes connected directly to the managed switch ? why don't i see them ?
again, what do i have to configure both on the switch and the computer for it to show on the switch's peer list ?

Hi Victor,

did the check and all i can see is switches peer info and not computers although invoking "find switch port" on some nodes produced an "indirectly..." answer.
can you shed some light on the subject ? can you explain what needs to be configure in order for this to work ? do i have to configure anmp on the computers too?
my switches are using h3c,procurve,dell-pwc drivers.

hi,

i have installed the 64 bit version and i seems that the console is not included in the installer.
the setup says it could not find the file.
i think you forgot to include the console installation since the download file size is too small compering to previous versions.

Hi,

i need drivers for the 3com switchs series 5500,4500.
a generic driver can be good too as long as will be able to populate all "peer-ip" and ect. columns

General Support / Agent Deployment

Hi,

no matter what i do, i can not upgrade the agents unless i go to each and every machine and install the agent manually.
maybe the mechanism of deployment needs to be changed for windows.

you can use totalcommander.
go into to the root directory of netxms, open the search dialog, search for all files by putting "*" and put the requested search string in the "find text"

General Support / Re: Agent's Connectivity
October 10, 2014, 05:28:27 PM
Hi Victor,

yes, i can restore the connection manually but i do not want to do that, i want it to be manually.
although i have 4 agents, i have created a container with filter script to capture all the nodes with agents and if i won't do a manual restore the bindings will be removed.
i guess that this can be considered as a feature request.

General Support / Agent's Connectivity

Hi,

i have found that agents do not restore their connection to the server automatically although i have configured them to use watchdog.
i came across situations that the server crushed for some reason or after a power outage when the server started after the agents and i had to manually restart the agents.
