Hi,

i am sure that you can do it with NetXMS but we need to have more details.
1. can you install the netxms server at the client network and connect to it via console or web from outside ?
2. how does the client networks connect to the internet ?
3. can you configure port forwarding ?
4. if the client networks connect to the internet through dynamic ip the you have to use a service called dynamic dns.

as you can see we need more details before we can answer.

Hi Victor,

they have the same problem that i have for the past versions.
the agent is downloading the respected agent, stops the current agent but the installation fails.

Hi victor,

i didn't get the chance to run one of the agents in debug mode but i have noticed that after a power failure or lost of communication to the server the agents changes their status either to "1" or just freeze and they do not restore their connection when the server is connected again.

i have shut down a monitored server and the status of it did not change untill manualy polled for status.
what can be the problem ?

just came across the Admin Guide page and although it is in progress, finally we have a good and well built help mechanism.
i can't tell you how many times i have recommended this application to IT pro's but i always had this little obstacle called "Help".

i am starting to believe that it has something to do with the blade center and how it is designed.
