Perhaps I could not explain enough.

Example :

There is a server as a node in netxms. SQL server and IIS working on it.

There may be critical alarms as :

Disk Full,
Database Problem
IIS problem.
etc.

Each errors must be saw and solved by different persons.

If I can use alarm prefix filtering in Alarm viewer section, then I can show each error to only person who must solve it.

Can alarm viewer be filtered with alarm prefix?

Think that there is a node, and there may be some critic alerts (there may be multi node as this). But different persons must solve these problems. So, I want to filter each person's dashboard for only their jobs.

I thought about this and I can do this with a different way (create a node for each person, and create alarms for other machines on these nodes and show everybody only one node's alerts.) Disadvantage of this is when I want to go past for only one node, it will be more difficult.

I am wondering if there is any other way for this.

You must not set ignore the interface's state. (set expected state to up)  So, you can see if node is up or down.

Be sure that nexmsd is not running (there is not any process that it's name is netxmsd.) If there is any, kill it.

before run netxmsd again, type:

nxdbmgr unlock

and if asks any question say yes.

you must install tomcat and place  the netxms.war file to right directory.

otherwise, you must download and use netxms management console.

i am adding some pictures ( I hope these will help about problem). And I think i found an other error too.

1.st picture is network map in a dashboard and network map has DCI containers (novalue.jpg) . Nextms opened  and none of other dashboards opened.

2nd picture is my network map's view when i open network map. (value.jpg)

3rd picture is for 2 reason. (value_tile_map.jpg)
     1 - I am opening network map and then, opening my dashboard. Everything except object view style is ok.
     2 - When I open this dashboard, Console is trying to download all world map in vertical side. you can see horizontal and vertical scroll bars around network map. I waited about 15 minutes and console could not finish downloading world map.

You must use first side of war file name (I mean without extension) . In your post, I see you copied nxmc-2.0-M5.war to tomcat directory, so you must use


your server's ip address/nxmc-2.0-M5

I have to ask something too :

I added DCI Container to network map, but when I added this network map to a dashboard DCI Containers show "No Value"  message. But when I open network first, then open dashboard, DCI containers show normal values.

I saw a new error about network map in dashboard. When I added DCI Container to a network map, and add this network map to a dashboard, Dashboard is not refreshing any value on it. I mean if there are 10 dashboards in a dashboard and one of them includes a network map (and network map includes DCI container), none of dashboards is refreshing.

Will this implementation solve these bugs too ?

then, perhaps you could not uninstall older server and even if you install newer version, you are trying to run older one.
you can check this by running

netxmsd -v

nxdbmgr upgrade

then start next's.

or you could not uninstall previous version of nextms and trying to start older one.

is there any possibility to add drill down map speciality to work with 'network map in dashboard' ? It is working in network map view but not working on a network map in a dashboard.

I am trying to make a dashboard and want to put a network map in it. I am configuring network map as show nodes as status icons, and it seems as is when I open the network map. But when I put this network map into a dashboard, nodes are being showed as their icons (shown in attached picture.) What am I doing wrong?
