General Support / "primary hostname"

hi,
this new feature is a great one but upon network discovery the primary host name does not change and stays the ip address so i do not understand how this will help me with dhcp enabled nodes which this feature is meant to deal with ?

Feature Requests / server configuration

hi ,

i do not know whether all changes to in the server configuration require server restart but at least the documentation says that network discovery does.
it would be nice if the server will do this auto.

Feature Requests / Exports
September 22, 2011, 11:36:21 AM
hi ,

currently there are not many things you can export so you can apply them to another server and with every new server there is a lot of work restoring everything.
it would be nice to have the ability to export what ever i want like dci's instead of having to have everything written down in some document in order to have something to copy from when needed.
also,it would be nice to have everything that is script able to link to the script library for central management like transformation scripts and etc.

General Support / Java Console - Balloon Tips
September 20, 2011, 11:03:05 AM
hi,

when ever an alarm is displayed in the alarm browser there is a corresponding balloon tip popping up but it stays there for along time after the alarm was terminated both manually and automatically.
is there a need to shorten the time of the balloon tip ?

hi,

it would be helpful to have the regular right menu accessed from the alarm browser too.
