hi,

on my first installation i used embedded sqlite and recently i have transfered to mysql and i use nxdbmgr to import the database and it worked fine.
now i want to export the db to a file but it says that there is a problem with the sqlite schema.how can i do this ?

i have another 2 questions that came up my mind reading your answer.
1. can one xml file contain 2 <parser> sections ?
2. can the <event> contain two attributes meaning passing the two param ? something like this <event params="1","2"> or <event params="1",params="2">

i think that there should be a plugin maybe or even hard coded, the ability to interface with active directory and dns for both adding nodes and authentication.

it will be great if there was a mechanism for changing the icons.it will be best if it will be hard coded but a mechanism like hp has that rely on oid can be great too.

hi,

it will be great if the application will have a built in help mechanism that will include either links to a chm file or in body help.
it will be great if there were examples and in a case like winperf counters or wmi queries there will be a line explaining the structure that has to be entered.
it will be also great if all of the variables there are will be mentioned in the user manuals respectably to the relevant section like variables related to the discovery process.

how do i define several parameters to be passed in the <event>.
what will happen if i will write a variable name after the dot ?
for example:
<match>process:(.var)</match>
<event params="1">200000</event>

will the param name be "var" ?

i do have the mdump but it is 900mb file and i can not send it to you for security reasons so i will just have to wait for the new release to see if it will solve my problem.

i forgot to say that i use windows 2003 R2 enterprise server with sp1

hi,

my server is always crashing and i do not know why.it runs on ibm x336 with 8gb ram and 60gb disk.i had this problem using both sqlite and then mysql.
i use a remote console and i leave it open all the time and when i get to work in the morning i see an unexpected termination.i have configured the service to restart itself when ever there is a problem but this is not a solution fit to an enterprise class software.
i have attached the error message i get from the server and i hope it will help solve the problem
