Hello Alex,

Thanks for your answer.
I want to create comment from few concatented custom attributes.
I'm trying to modify comments, because they are displayed as node tooltips on maps.
I know there is option to display DCI's last value as tooltip, but in this case DCI name is also displayed, not only last value and this is unwanted for me.
I can live with this, but tried to find better solution  :).

Regards, Grzegorz.

December 21, 2017, 05:35:16 PM
Hello,

After upgrade to version 2.2.1 on old Windows Server 2003 X86, agent won't start.
When I tried to run it from command line,
C:\NetXMS\bin>nxagentd.exe -c "C:\NetXMS\etc\nxagentd.conf"
there is an error:
Error loading configuration file
Configuration file exists and access is allowed for Everyone.

General Support / Re: agent-to-server connections
September 20, 2017, 12:07:24 AM
Hi Victor,

Certificate is in PEM format.
I found solution of this problem.
The certificate file consists of two parts: certificate and private key, e.g.:
-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----
xxx
-----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
yyy
-----END CERTIFICATE-----

Problem occurs when private key part is first and certificate part is second.
When certificate part is first, everything is fine.

Hi,
I'm trying to run agent-to-server connection, but log says:
Cannot load server certificate from C:\NetXMS\Certs\NetXMS_Server.crt (error:0906D06C:PEM routines:PEM_read_bio:no start line)
NetXMS runs on Windows Server 2008 R2
Any ideas?

Regards, Grzegorz.

Feature Requests / Send mail as HTML
October 07, 2016, 10:13:25 AM
Hello,

Please, add option to send email as HTML.
It is only small change in 'Content-Type' header  :)
Option to select 'text/plain' or 'text/html' will be fine too.

Best regards, Grzegorz.

General Support / Re: LVM_PV_STATE_NOT_ACTIVE event
September 19, 2016, 02:33:15 PM
Hi,

Thanks for explanation.
I found answer by myself, there is a user defined event with same ID (100000), after NetXMS upgrade it was replaced by LVM_PV_STATE_NOT_ACTIVE  :).
I need to move all user defined event IDs to number greater than 1000000.

Regards, Grzegorz.

General Support / Re: Windows event log processing
August 02, 2016, 11:42:13 PM
Thanks Victor,

I made some test, it looks that logged message is incomplete in some way as You wrote.
This is application bug, not NetXMS and I was looking for workaround.

Best regards, Grzegorz.

General Support / Windows event log processing
July 29, 2016, 11:49:14 AM
Hello,

In general Windows event log processing work fine for me, but some event are not processed and NetXMS log says:
[DEBUG] LogWatch: Call to EvtFormatMessage failed: error 15027
or
[DEBUG] LogWatch: Call to EvtOpenPublisherMetadata failed

It looks that some event are incomplete (do not contain all fields properly filled) and NetXMS is unable to procces them.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Regards, Grzegorz.

General Support / Re: XMPP problem
December 04, 2015, 01:19:30 AM
Hi Victor,

Additional info: configured XMPP account works for some time after server restart, then disconnects from server.
XMPP client installed on my computer shows this particular account as 'disconnected'.
Also I found this in log file:
57941: [03-Dec-2015 20:41:28.504] [DEBUG] XMPP: Unrecoverable TLS error, 5.
57942: [03-Dec-2015 20:41:28.504] [DEBUG] XMPP: Closing socket.
57943: [03-Dec-2015 20:41:28.504] [DEBUG] XMPP: disconnected
57944: [03-Dec-2015 20:41:28.504] [DEBUG] XMPP: Stopping event loop.
58232: [03-Dec-2015 20:41:58.504] [DEBUG] XMPP: sock_connect to jid.pl:5222 returned 23200
58233: [03-Dec-2015 20:41:58.504] [DEBUG] XMPP: attempting to connect to jid.pl
58234: [03-Dec-2015 20:41:58.535] [DEBUG] XMPP: connection successful

Hope this shed some light what can be wrong.

Best regards, Grzegorz.
