General Support / NxShell Link color based on Objects
December 16, 2019, 04:24:34 PM
Hello,
I am adding links to my maps using nxshell.
With the following code the link is not reflecting the Object status.

from java.util import ArrayList

ltype = NetworkMapLink.NORMAL
cd = NetworkMapLink(ltype,4885,4943)
sList = ArrayList()
sList.add(4917)
sList.add(4943)
cd.setStatusObjects(sList)
cd.setRouting(NetworkMapLink.ROUTING_DIRECT)
cd.setColorSource(LinkConfig.COLOR_SOURCE_OBJECT_STATUS)

amap = s.findObjectById(5036)
mapPage = amap.createMapPage()
mapPage.addLink(cd)

data = NXCObjectModificationData(5036)
data.setMapContent(mapPage.getElements(), mapPage.getLinks())
s.modifyObject(data)

There is a LinkConfig object but I don't see how it should be applied to the Links:

lc = cd.getConfig()
lc.setColorSource(LinkConfig.COLOR_SOURCE_OBJECT_STATUS)
lc.setObjectStatusList(sList)

Hello,
Would it be possible to have the nxshell for version 3.0.2039.

I now run this version since 3 weeks without problem.
Is there a repository for this version or a download site?

Thanks
Thierry

General Support / NXShell change geoLocation
February 01, 2019, 05:39:16 PM
Hello,

I am trying to set the geoLocation on some containers using nxshell.
I am not able to find how to set the geolocation neither how to update the geolocation of my node

cd = session.findObjectById(123)
geo = cd.geolocation
print geo

This works but now ...

geo.setLatitude(11.1) or anything  in this way does not work.

And then I can not find a  cd.setGeoLocation()
And neither  cd.geolocation = geo  works as it is a read-only attribute.

Regards.

General Support / Re: Show link between containers

Ok I found it myself:

Click on first Object, Ctrl-Click on the second object press Ctrl-L
(or click on the Link selected object symbol on the right)

General Support / Show link between containers
March 30, 2018, 05:19:09 PM
Hello,

I have map with different networks located arround the world.
I show only a container with its status and the user needs to click the container to see the network details.
I would like to see a link that changes color depending on it's status (some value in a sat modem or status of router interface).

How could I do that?

Thanks.

General Support / netxmsd not listening to 4701
March 16, 2018, 06:37:53 PM
Hello,

Netxms was woring fine for some time but then suddenly (without notice it was no reachable anymore).
I run in version 2.2.4 on ubuntu with tomcat7 for the web

netstat -nl  gives me:

tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:22              0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN
tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:21784         0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN
tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:6010          0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN

tcp6       0      0 :::4700                 :::*                    LISTEN
tcp6       0      0 127.0.0.1:8005          :::*                    LISTEN

udp        0      0 0.0.0.0:68              0.0.0.0:*

using: select var_name,var_value,default_value from config;
I see:
| CaseInsensitiveLoginNames                         | 0                                            | 0                              |
| CheckTrustedNodes                                 | 0                                            | 0                              |
| ClientListenerPort                                | 4701                                         | 4701                           |
| ClusterContainerAutoBind                          | 0                                            | 0                              |

Starting in debug 9 mode I do not see any errors but neither do I see any

[INFO ] Listening for  .... connections

Any idea what could be wrong?

Thanks

Update:

If I delete the alarms, the event_log and the alarm_events and restart netxmsd it works for some time.

At some time it will stop (10-20 minutes) it will stop working again.
