It looks more like bug in a server, not in agent. As a test, can you check if it is possible to collect same DCIs using command line, like this:

nxget server_address System.CPU.LoadAvg

Best regards,
Victor

I got back
QuoteConfiguration file OK
nothing more, nothing less.
Not sure if this is good or not  ;D

General Support / Agent bug?
April 02, 2008, 10:06:22 AM
I'm using the latest 32Bit agent on an XP32 machine, together with the 2.20 server and 2.20 console.

Using the agent to check available memory for example works great, but when I add certain dci's such as System.cpu.loadavg it doesn't retreive any data, causing the data of that DCI to stay at 1970, then when I try to delete this DCI it times out, and I have to shut down the console because I can't see anything in the last values tab of any object.

Then when I start the console again, it's stuck at "Synchronizing objects" and I have to restart the entire NetXMS server (stopping the service doesn't work).

Feature Requests / Copy O.I.D. from SNMP walk
April 01, 2008, 03:13:09 PM
Is there anyway to copy the O.i.d. from the SNMP walk in netXMS ?

Couldn't find this with the search, sorry for all the "simple" questions  ;)

If I add a router with multiple interfaces to netxms, it shows up multiple times in netXMS (one time for each different range)

For example:
#1:    Port 1: ***.***.100.***
#2:    Port 2: ***.***.200.*** (DMZ)
#3     Port 3: ***.***.144.***

Now If I put port 2 and 3 on unmanaged, they still show up in the object browser and map, I want to stop this from happening, how do I do this?

General Support / SNMP service not recognized?
April 01, 2008, 02:37:00 PM
One one of the workstations I'm managing I'm running the windows snmp service, however this does not show up in netXMS whatsoever  :(  It keeps saying that it's inactive.

I'm using the latest console and server.

Can anyone tell me the advantages of using the netXMS agent opposed to the windows snmp service?

General Support / Vista x64 console bug
March 25, 2008, 10:37:52 AM
I'm running the final version on my server, and when I connect from an XP machine the entire map looks good, a little buggy but I'm sure you'll fix that soon enough   :)

However If I connect from the 64bit version of vista.. well see for yourself.

Is this a known problem??

I'm running the latest stable candidate on my server, and the question I have is: Are the latest Rc's compatbile with the final version?

I'd rather find out now than find it out myself when it isn't working :D
