Hey if u have Installed 1.2.16 already on ur System , try to turn off the Service NetXMS Core and run the installation again , this should help ^^

Iam not really shure  why its not working correctly and only with the standards ... did u try it on a other device ? or maybe just do a  new poll after setting it up so the node is refreshed ?....

Ah now i see  :-) Just  change the GET Value to SET  because SET = GET & SET u know what i mean ? U dont have to set bothe values , the set value includes the GET ... or do u mean if u change it to SET u wont get any Values at all ?

Hey No Problem,

i Attached a Snapshot where u can Find the Settings , they should be  there in ur NetXMS ?   The Point is u need to Change this Value in  the " Main Tree " where ur Node is there Right Click on it and u can change the Settings ,  as far as i know  is , u cant change it in the DCI.


But Still u should check ur Device first , what kind of SNMP is it using ? v1 , v2 , v3  ?  The Standards are    " Public  = Read " ---  "Private  = Read / Write "

For ur own Security i suggest u Change that Values   for ur own security ^^

Yes its Possible , u can change it in the Properties of the "Node" , but be aware that u have to change it like u having it on the monitored Device ... The Standards Are Public = Read    Private = Read & Write .....

i wrote a Tutorial to get an Email notification if a certian Windows Service is down , BUT its in GERMAN , cause i need it for my Project. But u should be able to do it aswell even if its in German cause i made a lot of Screenshots with Marks on it .
I know there can be a lot mistakes in it and maybe some things u would do diffrent but iam still doin my trade as a it-specialist or whatever u call it in englisch :-)
And iam a beginner with NetXMS ... i would love some critics about it what is good and what is bad ^^

I hope i could help somebody out with it.

i hope this is the right spott for this ... Iam still in education of my job  and my Project is gone be NetXMS .. Iam kind of struggeling with some things and the understanding with them ...
My requeust is actually if some people have the time and knowlegde to make or share some Video turorials of things settet up in NetXMS  like monitoring a Webservice... oder  how to set up new SNMP Traps stuff like these .. cause englisch is not my mother language  iam struggeling with understanding  some parts of configuration and seeting up stuff , even when i read the netxms wiki and administrators guide it explains the stuff what its for but not really how to set it up .....

I really would love some vids from other wise user how to setup stuff

Well the Problem was soved , ist was my own stupidity .......... Netxms Was sending the Mails but our Exchange was blocking the for some Reason ... no it works fine for me :-)

Hello Community,

iam a real newbie  with netxms  . I try to setup a Email Notification if a Service is down , well i  tried it with the example in the Wiki  with the HDD space if its less than 20% . It worked finde for me . Than i tried to Setup the Notification with an example the Bluetooh Service if its down , i  replaced the Values with the btshserv  and  created a new Eevent with the Bluetooh  Service , i seted up  a new  Event Processing Template with the Action of the EMail Warning .... If i stop the Service on the Machine iam getting the Value "6" that means its down , cause if the Service is running i get Value "0" Means service is running ....

I changed the action value to report .." if value is greater than "0" .... But iam getting no email i tried it in many Diffrent ways but cant get it to Work...

Could someone please point me out where my Problem might be ? If u need screens of my Config just tell me ....
Even better would be if someone could  make an short Tutorial with Email notification of Down Services ...
