I dont want a group of users to mess around with the layout option available when we right click on a Map,

need to disable or grayout this options for them

please suggest how can i do this

I need to accomplish the following

my organization has 3 links consisting of one link of 7Gbps, two links of 2Gbps each, The total bandwidth available for the uplink is 11Gbps (7+2+2)

According to the Department of telecommunication rules i need to calculate the aggregate utilization of all the three links on a monthly and quarterly basis

if this is possible with Netxms, Please guide me about how to set up Netxms to accomplish this task

if possible can i also get alerts if the combined utilation of all the three links cross the threshold of 90%.

I also need to calculate the aggregate average monthly and quarterly latency for these up links

cuurently i use a ping tester that runs a scheduled ping query of 1000 packets to the hosts every date and dumps the data in sql database, then i have a custom made web application to fetch the data as below

Is it possible to change the font size on the MAP?

The Link and Node names are not quite legible with many nodes on the map

Can someone please guide me about saving my L2 MAP,

I want to save my autocreated L2map as in the attached map (L2MAP1)

my problem is that even after i take off the tick from enable automatic layout and save the map. after a while it goes back to (L2MAP2), im confused as to why the save button does not work

Hi!
I'm trying to migrate a MSSQL DB to Mysql db based NetXMS Server, currently NetXMS connects to the MSSQL DB via ODBC, i geeting the below error while exporting.

c:\NetXMS\bin>nxdbmgr.exe export backup_file
NetXMS Database Manager Version 2.1.1 Build 9014 (2.1.1) (UNICODE)

ERROR: cannot load schema file "C:\NetXMS\var"
Database export failed.


Any help on this one?

Hi

having some trouble getting bandwidth values from some switches i.e. lan-sw1.
lan-sw2, lansw3, lan-sw6, lan-sw8 (SMC 6152L2), see attachment, am able to get the bandwidth details on lan-sw4 (Edge Core ECS2100-28T) as seen in the attachment, have no idea if any specific configs need to be done on SMC 6512L2, other SNMP details are working fine for the the switches.

another issue is with regards to the attached triangular topology, we we shut the link from one node, the link color does not turn red, even though the alarms are generated, however for other node in some other map things work fine, i have tried deleting the map topology and recreating it, have configured the the link color based on object status and selected the right port,

the above are the only glitches i am having to deploy the NMS,


hope someone is able to help me on this soon, will chuck off Whatsup Gold once the above work issues are resolved. WUG is currently monitoring close to 1000 network nodes, and im not so keen on buying additional licences , love the way Netxms provide required info in point and click manner the search functions are great too.
