Is it possible to make dci that checks Network Discovery status, for example if "Disabled", "Active only" or "Active and Passive". Yesterday i noticed that for some reason it was set to disabled but it should be active.

Is it possible to periodically run Package Manager and apply it to specific folder? Or run it on nodes that were not online when last update was run?

Today i noticed that Poll Manager and Item Poller thread have stopped responding in middle of night. By morning it did not restore, what could cause this?

When i close management client and try to relaunch, it gets stuck at synchronizing objects. Also node alarms that were active don't get cleared when NetXms server is restarted.

Could someone please explain how is it decided what error is displayed when node is down?

For example when node is really down, no network connectivity etc, sometimes Netxms shows status as Node down, other times as unreachable by icmp and sometimes both. What is deciding factor in there?

Also for icmp down it seems very sensitive, maybe 1 packet is lost and status is already unreachable.

Trying to update Agent versions after updating server to 4.0.2151

Some agents update fine, others show error "File transfer failed", i included agent log (debug lvl 7).

Currently running NetXms version 3.9.334. I have noticed lately that client loading times and changing different pages takes long time to load. What parameters can i check for causing slow loading. Last time i just restarted server and it helped. but i was wondering maybe its config error or something. Usual parameters like disk activity, ram, cpu etc are quite low.

I would like to propose two improvements to World map:

1) Make nodes with issues placed on top of other nodes. For example in cluster of many nodes, currently nodes with issues get buried and dont show up.
2) When many nodes are close by, show them as one and add number of merged nodes, when zooming in, gradually break them apart again.

How can i debug why NetXms Management Console is starting up really slow? Currently timed startup time to 3min and 53s. Most of that time was spent on "Synchronizing objects...".

Would it be possible to order some specific addons to NetXms and what would it cost ?

Example 1: possibility to upload/add photos to nodes, in new menu or under comments for example.
Example 2: Geomap with possibility to connect nodes and draw wifi maps etc.

Question when i am monitoring router with local network address, is it possible to monitor external address also within same node or do i need to create seperate node ? Also how can i check if large packet ping is working ?

My current setup has grown litle bit and i have noticed errors stating "Syncer Thread not responding" they come and go. Am i hitting the server limit or is there some tuning to be done ?

It should be mostly default values. Where can i start investigating what is bottlenecking ?

Does anyone have good suggestions how to monitor SFP module TX/RX values. Well i am collecting them but what would be good strategy to alert on "bad" value? For example i have 48 port optical switch, almost all SFP modules report different values and there is no good threshold value that suits all. Idealy i would like to set alerting based on signal level that was observed when link was established. But with auto discovery its impossible to set those values.

I am interested in detecting events when signal is degrading over time, for example if signal has changed alot over 2-3 days for example.

Has someone used Peplink lte router and monitored it with NetXMS? I am interested in retriving the GPS cordinates from the router. I searched snmp output for cordinates but it seems not to be available. Option #2 would be using builtin router function called gps forwarding but not sure if NetXMS can receive them?

Possible settings:
Server: ip,port,protocol,report interval
GPS Report format: NMEA, TAIP
NMEA Sentence type: GPRMC,GPGGA,GPVTG,GPGSA,GPGSV
TAIP Sentence type: PV,CP

Has anybody used osquery and get results into NetXms ?

Its supposed to work like SQLLite (but actually uses rocksdb) database with system info in it for easy query. but not sure how to query it with netxms.

What would be good way to alert on condition when some node suddenly starts responding to ping or to tcp port for example and normal status would be down. Usually monitoring it other way around.

Is it possible to do currently or is there plans to add support for Node uptime statistics. Basically possibility to list nodes ordered by most down time or sort them by site and see what site has most issues with uptime.
