Not able to connect to server from agent

Hi,

   I have installed and configured the latest version 0.27 on redhat linux
9 .

  When i am trying to connect from agent to server i am getting the same
error which i had in the previous version

   "unable to communicate"

  Can you please let me know what mght be the problem.
