Sorry for late reply, I was out of the city...

Actually, this situation is described in troubleshouting section of
NetXMS manual, p. 6.1 on page 21 in
http://www.netxms.org/documentation/netxms_user_manual.pdf . Maybe it's
not very clean though.

You can also add --check-db command line option when starting netxmsd at
system startup. This will cause NetXMS server to check and repair
database before start.

Doug. That was it! did the trick. The only thing I can think of that
caused this was an "unclean" shutdown of my system. I'll have to print
this one out and keep it in my book.
Victor....if this is a reoccuring issue, I will let you know...maybe it
can make it into the troubleshooting area of the manual.
