Profiles

I emailed this question around a while ago, but never received any
reply. I was wondering if there was any way to have 1 profile (or
desktop configuration) and be able to make additional desktops that
point to the one profile. Maybe I can better explain what I'm trying to
do.

I want to have one desktop configuration that has our entire network in
it. I then want to be able to give several users the ability to view
data within this profile but also be able to restrict what they can do
with the User Management. I want to make this a central monitoring tool
and have several techs who could watch the Event Viewer, make changes,
or add devices. I don't want to have separate desktops that everyone
has to completely "discover" or configure their own map. So, I'd love
to have the ability to copy the profile and have the copy really be a
pointer to one master profile.

Is this possible? If not, will it ever be possible?
